Current Beauty Favorites

Finally, I am sharing my current beauty obsessions in today's post!

Wholy Moly! Where has this been all my adult (and crow feet-ridden) life?! I am highly skeptical of any non-surgical products that promise to reduce, minimize or rid you of your wrinkles. However, I had over $100 in Ulta points and was feeling adventurous so I walked on over to the skin care section.

Peter Thomas Roth FirmX claims to temporarily and instantly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I swatched some of the product on my hand and instantly felt the difference in my skin, this got me excited. Naturally, I had to check the reviews. Almost 90% of reviewers were raving about this product. At this point, I was thinking why hadn't I heard of this product sooner!

Cons: tightening feeling that not all will like; will dry down white if you apply too much product; it is only temporary.
Pros:  instant tightening, blurs or diffuses the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles!!!!

Even with its cons, I am seriously blown away by this product. When applied correctly, it can actually diminish the look of wrinkles... need I say more?!

Urban Decay Midnight Cowgirl

I rarely buy single pan eyeshadows. I feel that you don't get as much value for your money. With that said, Midnight Cowgirl by Urban Decay was an exception. I mean look at the swatch!!!!

Midnight Cowgirl is a champagne color with a pink/peach undertone. It does have some glitter but is in no way obnoxious and totally appropriate for mature skin (in my humble opinion). Absolutely obsessed with placing this shadow on my mobile lid as well as the inner corners of my eyes, giving me a refreshed and rested look.

Ouai Hair And Body Oil

I had first heard about this oil from Paulina Beregova and then from Nicole Shaye. And then, as if by magic, Ouai Hair And Body Oil arrived in my monthly Play by Sephora box!

This oil has light moisture and smells of roses, though the scent does not linger nor does it give me a headache. You can use it on the body or simply give your hair more shine and seal split ends. Absolutely love this multi-tasker!

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder

I had tried the loose powder version of this product a couple of years ago and I wasn't a fan. I'm chalking it up to the fact that I don't feel loose powder sits well in my laugh lines because this formula is amazing.

If you are like me and are more of a pressed powder kind of gal then you must give this one a try. I get an amazing optical illusion when I  combine this powder with the Peter Thomas Roth FirmX Eyes, actually reducing the appearance of fine lines and pores.

I really want to try the Peter Thomas Roth FirmX for the face and see if it shrinks/contracts pores 😍 I will definitely keep you posted!

Measurable Difference Oils

I stumbled upon these while at Marshalls, but you can order them directly from the Measurable Difference website. I started mixing the Hyaluronic, Lactic Acid, and Blue Tansy oils into my nightly Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask... oh... my....word!

The mask on its own gives me amazingly rehydrated and revived skin, but paired with the oils it is as if I had just gotten an oxygen facial! Best part is that they are extremely affordable so it doesn't break the bank and a little goes a long way.

Revlon Gel Envy Nail Polish in Up In Charms

I've raved about this polish before and there is a reason it is still being mentioned today. It is amazing! I am still using the Red Carpet Nail dip and applying this polish over top when I want something different. The results are extremely beautiful salon quality nails.

I know there are other no-light gel polishes out there but I feel Revlon's formula dries the fastest and produces the shiniest top coat.  Absolutely obsessed! I've gotten so many compliments on the polish as it looks identical to gel nails you would obtain at the salon. In particular, I am in love with the color Up In Charms.

Nail Clips

If you do your nails at home, these babies will be a game changer for you. You simply soak a cotton ball in acetone, place it in the clip, put your finger in the clip and relax. I wait about ten minutes, rub the cotton ball on the nail and the dip powder comes completely off.

I love that this allows me to just sit and relax while I "soak off" my dip powder without drying out all of my fingers or using excessive acetone. Great find!

Christian Dior Creme Abricot

This nail creme is a little luxury for your hands. I like to keep mine by my bedside and apply to the base of my nails as part of my night time routine. It is extremely nourishing and leaves your cuticles looking healthy.

It is a little spendy for a cuticle cream but after a full day of changing diapers, doing dishes, etc., my hands deserve a little extra love.
