Best Hair Tool EVER!

    I am so excited to talk to you about my new discovery! If you follow me on social media, then you know I have extremely long hair. Styling it can take 45 minutes to an hour. This is NOT mommy friendly. I felt frumpy most of the time because I couldn't be bothered to spend the time styling it. Naturally, I had to try the beauty tool which promised to straighten, curl and cut down my styling time. Here is the verdict...

Product Claims:

The Tyme Iron promises a time saving, straightening and curling iron combo. 

Product Results: 

PROS 

The Tyme Iron cut my styling time down to 15 minutes from 45. It does in fact work as both a curling iron and a straightener. The curls last an entire week, though they are much softer towards the end. I have included two pictures of myself below. The picture on the left is of me having tried the iron for the first time, and the picture on the right is the same curls a week later. (Yes, I wash my hair once a week)

 CONS: 

There is a learning curve. It took me about 10 minutes to get the hang of creating curls with the time iron. However, this "CON" is extremely minimal compared to the results. If you have difficulty getting the hang of the iron, you can schedule a video consultation where a representative goes over how to properly use it and gives you live tips as you practice in front of the representative. The other CON is that the iron does not have an auto shut off. 

     

 

        Here are a couple of bonus tips that made styling easier: 

• Hold clamp loosely over hair. (If your hand keeps tugging while sliding, you are holding it too tightly)
• For a section of hair (1" width and about 20" length) I count between 18 to 20 seconds from base to tip. 
• The thiner the strand of hair the faster you move the iron through the hair. 
• The thinner the strand, the tighter the curl. 
• Keep your thumb directly under the on button. 

    All in all, I am in love with this styling iron. I have never been one who could style my hair easily. This is certainly no longer the case. At $189, it is worth EVERY PENNY! I was not given this iron, nor was I paid to talk about it. I wish I was... ::insert frownie face here:: I'm merely writing this review because you need to know about this. It is seriously that life changing. Well, it is for me. Time is money, hunny ;) and the Tyme iron definitely deliver on its time saving promise.
